The well known search engine giant, Google is investing into the mobile technology in order to step up its mobile offerings. Realising it is becoming the new key sector of modern technology usage, they try to look for technology startups which could be integrated into their profile.
In this year, Google has already purchased 6 companies, including Plink that is specialized in visual search technology. In February, Google acquisition covered reMail, a mobile email client. Previously this app succeeded in the Apple iPhone Application Store, thus it meant an open challenge for Apple. Google Android had already posed competition in the smartphones world against iPhones. Furthermore, Google bought AdMob, a mobile ad company in last November.

But Apple does not rest either. They launched their own mobile ad platform, the iAd. It means we are likely to experience a tough competition and great innovations in the close future in the high-tech industry, especially in the mobile service field.
