At the same time when Twitter is planning to charge companies that use its service for e-commerce commercial purposes, Dell would have sold PCs for $ 3 million in the United States through the microblogging platform.
Second seller of personal computers behind HP, Dell said last week have exceeded 2 million dollars in revenue based on the Twitter account @ DellOutlet launched in 2007 to promote its product. Fans (some 600,000 registered) can be redirected to the e-commerce website dell.com / outlet. In addition to the second hand sales or for the series, the Texan firm would have attracted fans of Twitter to its new products (1 million dollars in sales).

Remember, however, that these sales are still marginal compared to the total turnover achieved in 2008 by Dell: $ 61 billion.
